The person responsible for the processing of personal data, i.e. the data controller, is the natural or legal person who alone or together with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or inquiries to the controller). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the character sequence "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser line.

Legal basis

Point a in Article 6 paragraph 1 (Art. 6(1)a) GDPR serves our company as a legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations necessary for the delivery of goods or the provision of other services or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)b GDPR. The same applies to such processing processes that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of enquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on point c in Art. 6(1) GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may become necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person, cf. Art. 6(1)d GDPR. Ultimately, processing operations could also be based on Art. 6(1)f GDPR. Processing operations which are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases are based on this legal basis if processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail.

  • in the event that a legal obligation exists for this data transmission pursuant to sentence 1 in Art. 6(1)c GDPR, and
  • this is legally permissible and is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you pursuant to sentence 1 in Art. 6(1)b GDPR.

Right to notification pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR:If you have exercised your right to have the processing rectified, erased or restricted, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you have been disclosed of this rectification or erasure of the data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be notified of these recipients.

Use of Social Media: Social Plugins

Facebook as default plugin

Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition "Facebook Social Plug-in" or "Facebook Social Plugin". An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins

When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration Facebook receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" button or making a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.

The described data processing operations are carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)f GDPR on the basis of Facebook's legitimate interest in the insertion of customised advertising in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website and to design the service in line with your needs.

If you do not want Facebook to associate the information collected through our website directly with your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also object to the loading of the Facebook plugins and thus the data processing procedures described above with add-ons for your browser in the future, e.g. with the script blocker "NoScript" (http://noscript.net/).

Facebook Inc., headquartered in the USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement Privacy Shield, which guarantees compliance with the data protection standards applicable in the EU.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the Facebook data protection information at:
http://www.facebook.com/policy.php

Google+ as default plugin

Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network Google+, which is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). The plugins can be identified, for example, by buttons with the "+1" character on a white or coloured background. An overview of the Google plugins and their appearance can be found at: https://developers.google.com/+/plugins

When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the page. The integration gives Google the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Google+ profile or are not currently logged in to Google+. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Google+, Google can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Google+ profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the "+1" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Google server and stored there. The information is also published on Google+ and displayed to your contacts.

The described data processing operations take place according to Art. 6(1)f GDPR on the basis of Google’s legitimate interest in the insertion of customised advertising in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website and for the needs-based design of the service.

If you do not want Google to associate the information collected through our site directly with your profile on Google+, you must log out of Google+ before visiting our site.

You can also object to the loading of the Google+ plugins and thus the above described data processing operations in the future with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker "NoScript". (http://noscript.net/).

In these exceptional cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimization and marketing purposes.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

This is regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in with or whether a user account exists or not. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google saves your data (even for users who are not logged in) as a user profile and evaluates it. Such an evaluation takes place in particular according to Art. 6(1)f GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in the insertion of customised advertising, market research and/or the needs-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
